Article: More expected from Zuma on crime

While President Jacob Zuma's commitment to the fight against crime in the State of the Nation Address has been welcomed, some analysts believe the President did not give the issue the attention it deserves.

In the address on Thursday, Zuma said government would continue improving the capacity and effectiveness of police - in particular detective services, forensic analysts and crime intelligence.
 
State of the Nation addresses are almost pure lip sevice, I'm completely astonished that there exists anyone so stupid and naive as to take any such claims seriously. I'm taking bets on whether or not we're going to see this lip service turned into serious action, offering 1/10000 odds folks, sign up here.
 
Yeah, like asking the fox not to eat your chickens is gonna work.
 
And what about Nigerian foreign policy aka Drugs. I think that drugs and teenage pregnancy should also be on the 'To Do' list.
