Article: Nkandla a holy space: Mbete

Some of Public Protector Thuli Madonsela's remarks about President Jacob Zuma's Nkandla home amounted to interference, ANC national chairwoman Baleka Mbete said on Thursday.

"A lot was clarified, in fact, by Thuli's report. She then goes on to say a few things which, in our view, are actually debatable because in the African tradition you don't interfere with a man's kraal," she told reporters in Cape Town.

"The issue of a man's kraal or a kraal of a family is a holy space."

Baleka you colossal idiot..

Nobody cares about your pathetic African Tradition in this aspect. Our president stole money from the public to get this unnecessary place built, therefore tradition falls away.
 
So even she agrees, the kraal should be paid by him since it's his family's holy space.

And since Ms Mbete makes an appeal to African culture, perhaps she can clarify whether African culture draws any distinction between public and private, or does everything just belong to the chief, as in traditional societies?

That can be averted by you clarifying your alternative interpretation. From here 'Nkandla is a holy place' seems a pretty succinct summary of what she said.

Please elaborate what that statement detailed to the public, what is this man's kraal and why is this kraal holy?
