Article: Nkandla cost "grotesque": Cosatu

The R206 million security upgrade to President Jacob Zuma's Nkandla home, in KwaZulu-Natal, is "grotesque", Cosatu said on Tuesday.

"Cosatu does not question the need for the state to take adequate measures to secure the president and other public office bearers. This is a norm everywhere in the world," Congress of SA Trade Unions spokesman Patrick Craven said in a statement.

"[However]... for the government to spend such a grotesque amount of public money on any one person is shocking and grossly insensitive to the workers, the poor and the homeless."

But remember to still vote for Zipper/ANC in the next election.

"And we are gonna strike, burn down and raid the place" "We will not stop until this injustice have been........."

Oh no wait you're not going to do anything although you'll gladly burn the rest of the country to the ground to get anything you want no matter how small but not ZUMA's stuff, oh noes!!!

You lot brought the Western Cape farming industry to its knees for a month over a R12m a month increase for the entire industry.

What are you going to do about R250 million corruption? What are you going to do about the R1.5bn being spent on the Nkandla Freeway Project?

Even more grotesque is the spectacle of millions of the same supporters who actually wanted such an openly corrupt man to be their leader and president.

THE Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) is endorsing President Jacob Zuma’s re-election as president of the African National Congress (ANC) at the party’s electoral conference at Mangaung in December.

So Jacob Zumas "Necessary Security upgrades" come to R206 000 000,

Say the average policeman gets paid R8000 pm.
Now that works out to R96 000 per year.

R206 000 000 could hire:
2145 new police man. One policeman protecting 100 homes (Very minimal)

214500 safer homes. Average of 4 people in a house hold.

That is 858 000 safer homes.

Then look at all the other expenses... R 2 100 000 000 for the two jets?

Yes, all for one fat petulant narcissistic ***t.

He will probably tell you there is nothing he can do, since it will be investigated by the PP.
