Article: No VAT on Books drive

The community-based organisation Equal Education (EE) on Tuesday added its voice to a call for the zero-rating of VAT on books.

"We support scrapping VAT on books because every effort should be made to increase access to literacy and learning," it said in a statement.
 
This is absolutely right. No way should there be VAT on books - would also like to see a change in the ruling applied to e-books.
