Article: Public protector gets R60 million

The office of the public protector was saved from insolvency with a R60 million lifeline in the budget, Beeld reported on Thursday.

Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene announced in his budget presentation that the protector would receive that amount over three years.
 
There was an excellent talk I saw on Facebook recently from a guy who spoke about the "Anti Corruption Units" in Africa... They give them just enough money to hamper their investigations so that the corruption can go on, and no real change or action is needed...
 
They should cut unnecessary massive amount of social grants which encourage the masses to replicate like bunnies, and pump the cash into Thuli's office.
She does a damn good job.
