Article: R2 billion Zumaville plans

Plans for development of a R2 billion town near President Jacob Zuma's Nkandla homestead are moving ahead, the Sunday Times reported.

Two weeks ago Zuma met local businessmen to discuss the project for building the town, officially called the Umlalazi-Nkandla Smart Growth Centre, but dubbed 'Zumaville' in the media.

She said there would be private investment in the project, but declined to name these investors.

The project was the brainchild of Masibambisane, a rural development organisation which Zuma and his cousin Sibusiso "Deebo" Mzobe co-chair.

So an organisation on which Zuma co-chair, went beyond the Nkandla municipality to authorise an entire town. Zuma is going to push his presidency terms...
 
This ties in with the Korong Capital Partner issue that I posted about all over the forum over the last 18 months. Private capital to build the freeway through Nkandla just magically appeared from New York and funnelled into the pockets of a company owned by a bloke with buggerall experience in, well, anything at all, and he's given the go-ahead to build the freeway by the Public Works department without them supposedly spending a cent. This was just a few billion Rand altruistic gift to the people of SA - sure thing.

Then the moment I break the story, and show that his business is registered at the Housing Development Agency's manager's personal property, Korong issue a deregistration from CIPC, DPW supposedly cancel the contract with Korong, and nothing happened. Yet work continued. And now Korong is back, and the DPW won't tell us what's going on, nor will they disclose the new tender that must have been issued.

So we're going to see a lot of this. Plenty money being laundered outside of SA (but from government coffers), coming back to SA via front-companies headed up by patsies, and then finding its way to Zumaville - magically...

That had been on the increase since the early 1990 by Government "entities", especially come with government parastatals and mining in the private sector.
 
WTH, so thats the new tactic for using our money, malicious private investors playing front when its infact our tax money. This guy has absolutely absolutely no shame
 
I also suspect that there is an entire network of slushed funds that Zuma has access for tapping into and that Zuma holding certain keys allows other people access to those funds at play.

Not a new tactic - the difference is that when the Nats were caught doing this by the public in Muldergate the government fell.
 
The expected... I really hope he / ANC does not get nearly as many votes as in the past.
