Article: Red October - march to end "white slaughter"

The South African government has failed to uphold the Constitution, Afrikaans singer and activist Sunette Bridges said on Thursday.

"We are gathered here today and in all major and smaller towns across South Africa... to inform the government of South Africa that it has failed dismally in upholding the letter and spirit of this constitution and, in doing so it has failed the citizens of South Africa."
 
when are these people ever concerned about the constitution?
 
Those issues they are protesting about....they are not the only "race" being affected; Everyone is affected by these issues. This would have been a much better campaign (or protest...whatever its called) if it did not exclusively victimize whites only - if everyone, regardless of race or culture or whatever, joined forces in this protest.
 
It is not my intention to belittle the fact that so many people have been murdered, but Sunette Bridges is a hateful bigot. Any noise she emits, is put on auto ignore by me. I do however believe we have a big problem with regards to farm attacks, no matter what the colour of skin the victims might have had.
 
I'm not one to pull the race card but: "Racist!".

Crime affects everyone. Criminals don't care what the colour of your skin is just what they can get from you. Poverty = crime. Plain and simple. This has nothing to do with race.

Claiming this only affects your own race simply shows you don't consider the crime that affects other races relevant because you don't really care.

Believe me, crime is MUCH worse in the townships than in suburbs - they don't have high walls and private security there for the most part.

Not to mention that they'd be taken much more seriously if they didn't wave their AWB and Old SA flags, sing die stem and have every racist group in the world supporting them.

Steve is not a bad guy, but he is delusional and fixated on something that is a much bigger issue

People there who had their old flags were rogue agents most probably (you always get people who take things to far, regardless of race) a few contacts told me they specifically walked through the crowd to make sure things were under control.

of course, media was going to blow this out of proportion, WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT ! GASP !

This march was a protest for white farmers, innocent old people, and normal people who got mutilated by thieves.

If you saw these photos, boy you would think its a bloody horror movie but its happening here on this very soil you stay on. IF you know about people in your community getting pestered or the crime is high, then bloody hell open your mouth and do something about it, go to saps meetings in your area. or better yet, make people aware , hold a protest ! People should not sit and complain if they aren't doing anything about it.


yeah sure why did we not protest about other races affected by crime ? blah blah blah... the protest was purely to wake the public up as to what was going on, the news does not report it at all. yeah sure black on black crimes are also high but for goodness sake you do not see the victims legs broken, tied to their necks and then hit in the face with a warm iron HEY ? NO.

We are a minority and we get the facts straight from the victims or relatives sometimes with very disturbing photos.

people need to catch a wake up and start defending themselves properly. There are so many people still living naively like sheep just waiting to be slaughtered every single day.


But until laws are properly reviewed and changed where the criminal does not benefit. The best you could do is pepper balls or swords until then.

This is the sad reality we stay in and instead of being picked on like sheep, this march was decided. Because other people do marches all the time right ? they complain about everything right ? So whats the problem ? now that the wit boys are opening their mouths people suddenly have a lot to say about it ?

you must understand that this could be brought up and put in a better light without being made out to be a genocide. farmers are being attacked and harmed, but it's the crowd that says "clearly this wasn't a crime", "it was communists", "we're being ethnic cleansed" are turning this into a joke.

even if they had merit, you only have to join these groups to see how the members insult black people, post degrading pictures, interracial couples that support the cause are chased from the group as traitors to their race and as abominations to God, etc. then you can say that this is a fringe minority, but you have 10 white afrikaners standing around a guy with the old SA flag saying nothing, and then you have nobody, not one person, carrying the new South African flag in this protest.

they're not bad people, but how they market themselves and act is hurting this cause.

if there is a mass protest against crime, most of us would be there, with everyone in our country instead of a minority. there ALREADY are protests protesting against rape and crime, but because black ANC supporters attend it, people do not care.

i've seen these photos, i often have the junk sent to me, where they take a death and try to use it as a banner for their racial crusade, and what i always notice is a lack of black photos amongst those murdered, and i KNOW they exist because i've seen them, as well as photos from all over the world.

some of us are well aware of the brutality of the murders - but we're not the ones arguing over which race group is doing it, why white people are more important or that we must just wait until it happens to our families

those pics are unsettling, i just get them with the time and date and where it happened and the cause.

but yeah, there are still a lot of people out there who think it wont happen to them and they need to catch a wake up.

i agree they could have added other races.... but then it would just be a "normal-stop-violent-crimes protest"

One persons' activist is another persons' hateful bigot. People have issues with these type of marches when they don't support them for one or other reason. There seems to be little tolerance among South Africans. If it's township women marching or simply women marching or LGBTI marching it's all great, but when it's people from a previously "privileged" class suddenly their issues don't matter 'cos - "everyone" is a victim of crime. Why highlight just one group? Well why highlight LGBTI or women's issues? Why highlight breast cancer when millions of people die from heart attacks and prostate cancer? This type of double standard is not on. If you want tolerance, you gotta give it. And if you want to give other groups the right to march, you should recognise everyone else and not just look down on people because they don't fit the politically correct line (which is BS anyway) that whites can't be victims too, because numerically blacks make up the majority of victims.

I don't know if they'd be taken more seriously. They may be taken as being weak. People will still look at them and think they're closet racists anyway.

They're just following the Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky. Use or rhetoric for political reasons is quite common.

Also people use slogans to help people remember things. You know like "If you speed you're a killer!" At least with this people are talking about this and some people think, "well yeah, maybe there is a problem of crime and vicious rape/murder attacks on farmers in SA". Our crimes in SA are not just high in number, but extremely cruel too.

Who knew, so this union and protestor excuse for violence is a real thing :). When ever a union or service delivery protest turns violent we're told they're just "elements"

The day a pride march or a disease awareness campaign (seriously wonky analogy you have going there) starts waving old flags around, behaving like bigots, thats when they lose my support for their cause.
I might remind you also of their boikot naspers movement a while ago from these same people, when they were called out statistically about the whole white genocide. Dont come dispelling their fear mongering or they'll label you a left wing liberal and threaten to boycott your ass. Lol. Like they even cancelled their dstv.
