When abusers are not reported to the police immediately, they become emboldened, Police Minister Nkosinathi Nhleko said on Thursday.
"This nation needs to talk to itself on how best it wants to proceed, as there can never be a policeman or woman in every household," he said in a speech prepared for delivery at the opening of a revamped police station in Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape.
Chief of the police station? "Who am I going to believe, you or my officers?" The evidence? "I don't see any evidence". Take it directly to prosecution? Get told the judges are in on the take as well and get refused to "Save myself time".
Long story short? If you want to do crime in this country kids, being in the judicial system is for you!
