Lies.
It's more like:
Toll financing enables government to employ a few more people whilst making a select set of people much richer.
Tolls increase the already high expense of having goods transported, whilst simultaneously forcing commuters to waste fuel and time on their journeys, so much so that at certain times of the year, commuters are forced to queue for 1 to 3 hours.
Government is continuously bailing out the companies involved, spending money that could have been allocated to building the roads as toll-free roads in the first place.
Government has hoodwinked the public by breaking the rules agreed upon for toll roads, including the rule that says that a toll road can only exists when a clearly marked alternative route is available, something that government has sneakily and conveniently "forgotten" about. Never mind the other things that were agreed upon, like S.O.S. phones, demarcated "picnic spots" and a specific maintenance schedule with 24 hour monitoring.

And, how can it possibly be that bikes pay the same rate as cars? That's simply insane.

The user already pays, with a thing called a fuel levy.
