Article: School computer scam

A scam by a man who claims to distribute computers donated by the office of the Eastern Cape premier Phumulo Masualle has hit schools in the province, the provincial education department said on Wednesday.

"The culprit who goes by the name of Mr Balfour, claims to be distributing a consignment of 25 computers per school which are a donation by the Premier's office," the department said in a statement.
 
Just shows you. Government promises that never delivered what they promised is now used on unsuspecting schools thinking government is actually pulling through on this.

Too bad the school already gets little to no money from government, now they're out (probably thousands or Rands) which means teachers will probably go unpaid.
 
Lol, sometimes people just need to use all of their 5 senses not to fall for these scams
