They have not only rejected it. They have rejected it by quite some margin. A BIG plus point for the EU. Such a pity South Africa can not join the EU The AU is a jocke.

If you think of it as an election for parliamentary terms, its a wide margin. But if you have 10 Scotsman in a room and just over 4.5 of them are true Scotsman.... It looks very different.

46% wanting to leave is huge...especially when it was first announced the support for independance was sitting at below 30%.

So you are saying that 55% of Scotsman aren't true Scotsman ?

Btw, did you know that majority of foreign nationals living in Scotland where polled as yes voters because they where afraid of the UK leaving EU? So actually less than 45% of "true Scotsman" voted yes

And I beg to differ. The EU nationals polled as No because there was a possibility of Scotland not being an EU member in event of a yes. Therefore they preferred the status quo.

The vote has changed a lot of perceptions in Scotland about how the English elite see them, and has invariably changed things forever I'm the UK
