Precisely.. It is a waste of time and money. Can't hold back the tide or stop the seasons... better to role with the flow.

As my username name implies - we are totally over-regulated and need to fight for freedom but that subject is for another discussion at another time
 
I think media sharing should not be illegal. If the stuff in store have enough value added (like bonus videos and loyalty discount coupons for live shows) and the artists actually give a rats ass to perform locally, people will buy. Sharing also exposes music to new customers. I buy the stuff I really like! :)
 
The biggest problem today, is that there are way too many artists that are studio-only artists. They only survive as an artist because of marketing and CD sales. I have no problem with those artists losing out. They should never have been in the business in the first place.
