Article: Speedster caught at 242km/h

A motorcyclist accused of driving at 242km/h on the N1 south, near the Maraisburg on-ramp was arrested on Sunday, Johannesburg metro police said.

Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said the 33-year-old from Lenasia was travelling on a white Honda motorcycle at more than twice the legal speed.

Was thinking the same thing but aren't most stretches of National roads monitored via cameras? They probably just setup roadblocks at every off-ramp ahead of him.
 
It's just really fast ... Just under 4km per minute I think?

So by the time people even reacted to him, he'll be at least a Kilometer away and out of site!
