Considering that mybroadband have their own staff writers and good working relationships with other tech journalists, let's give them a few suggestions for article topics that you'd like to read on mybroadband.

Try to give some detail about the suggestion and the motivation behind it. Maybe rpm will even attach some prizes to it...?

I'd like to see an article looking at the future of telecoms, but not the immediate future. Instead I'd rather like to know where we will be after LLU; what the future landscape would look like; what the future risks and opportunities are and basically what the future holds. I personally don't know...

Whatever happened to EASSy? Seacom pretty much changed the SA broadband lanscape but EASSy did nothing. Why? Is it because of the specific cartel operting the cable?

Also, how can we bring the costs of Telecoms down? Not just for each individual, but for the country as a whole. It should not cost so much.

Cell C 42Mbps HSPA+ arrives in April 2011 http://mybroadband.co.za/news/broadband/18963-cell-c-42mbps-hspa-arrives-in-april-2011.html
Cell C will be starting to bump up broadband speeds to 42Mbps in April in a phased network upgrade

Cell C announced in 2010 that they are planning to bump up their broadband speeds to 42Mbps, and the company has now revealed that the first 42Mbps HSPA+ rollouts will start in early April 2011.

Cell C CTO Ron Reddick said that they will roll out the new 42Mbps speeds in Port Elizabeth first, and then follow a staged rollout approach – similar to what the company is doing with their 21Mbps HSPA+ network.

42Mbps HSPA+ ZTE modems will be available in Port Elizabeth in April, and will be made available in other areas as the higher speeds are activated on the Cell C network.

Cell C CEO Lars Reichelt pointed out that the main aim of the 42Mbps network upgrade is to create more capacity and boost the average performance on their network rather than merely creating higher peak speeds.

So what happened & where are they at or did it all stop?
IT PR seems to have just stopped since Lars & Ron are no longer there.

I'd like a GPS shootout. Nokia vs TomTom vs Garmin. Get an oke with 3 GPSs in his car and let him use them for a month or two (at least). Ease of use, map UI when getting directions and when just driving, maps search accuracy and UI, map accuracy, and traffic accuracy and re-routing.

I've seen a few projections, 2014 looks crazy, definately something happening there, upto 40% increase in data usage worldwide! I suspect it has to be streaming media...

But looks forward to the MyBB article on the telecoms future.
