Article: Trump attack on Obama a damp squib

After promising an election-shaking revelation about Barack Obama, rightwing property developer Donald Trump disappointed Wednesday with nothing more than a warmed-up "birther" attack demanding the president release his college and passport files.

A flamboyant real estate tycoon and reality TV host, Trump whipped up media attention by promising a "very, very big" announcement to be made on his Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Are RPM articles going to crowd out everybody else in News and Current Affairs? Almost every other article on the front page is from RPM.

It's like an RSS feed or something.

Well he's entitled to more than anyone. Would you go to someone's house and tell them their stuff is all over their place?

I'm used to him being an administrator in the background especially on none Tech industry sections of the forum, right now it seems in NCA we might as well sit back and wait for his articles to be posted then reply to the threads since he's covering every single thing happening. It seems very mechanical/clinical.

:erm: Not quite sure what your point is. Who cares who posted the article. Comment or don't comment.

I just feel newsfeed articles take away some of the traditional charm that attracts one to the section, random forumites posting a particular issue because they feel strongly about it and starting a discussion on it. Now this might not happen anymore because every news story will have been automatically posted making another similar thread by a forumite a duplicate. Anyway it's not a tragedy, I guess it's just my reaction to a new/unfamiliar situation.

Edit: Or is the intention to increase general/non-IT news traffic to mybb? I noticed none of the threads have the full story but rather a link to the sites' general news section.

OK You have somewhat of a point now :D

With the edit too :D

Of course Obama has to be the first president to release his school records voluntarily. It's against the law for outsiders to gain access to his records without permission hence why Bush's records were leaked not released. If anything why isn't someone working hard and dirty to get the same? Trump is transparent and boring quite frankly. He insults our intelligence by suggesting Obama could make a difference with $5 million as if we're supposed to  that Trump is so charitable. Anyway what can you expect from a man that wanted to run himself? I wish he would take a seat somewhere and let these two battle it out properly.
