They should have issued the numbers for 2008 and 2009 for perspective. Comparing 2008 to the next two years would present a clearer picture regarding the extra numbers compared to normal traffic.

Especially considering this is mid Winter and way out of our normal tourist season. And this number if I understand correctly is just people reporting their purpose to visit as the world cup.
