Article: We will never bring back apartheid: Zille

People should not fear that the Democratic Alliance will bring back apartheid if the party came into power, leader Helen Zille said on Saturday.

"We will never bring back apartheid. In fact, people who think life was better under apartheid do not belong in the DA. We will never take away your grants or houses," Zille said.
 
Why would someone need to say this?

It should be obvious....

Almost like an American presidential runner saying "We won't bring back slavery..."

Is there anyone with more than half a brain cell who thought the DA would (could) bring back apartheid ?

You're making the assumption that most voters actually have more than half a braincell.
 
If the DA gets into power, that would mean its largest voting block would be black, as well as its standing candidates.

I mean that is so obvious, you must be bloody stupid if you think the DA would bring back apartheid with those obvious numbers.:wtf:
 
I think it is good that she said it. The accusation flies around far too often.

BUT, in fact... I think it would be impossible to ever actually successfully bring back apartheid.
There would be a war before that happened. We have come too far.

Unfortunately the ANC spins lies everytime they open their mouths when they talk about the DA. Continually trying to scare the populace into believing that the DA has a hidden agenda of trying to bring back an apartheid style regime. Listen carefully to how they base so much of their argument on colour and "white madam" mannerisms. This is all very carefully worded to enforce an idea that the DA is not a party worth trusting, and that the DA is only trying to undermine democracy as we now know it. The DA now has to try and reverse this nonsensical idea that the ANC has portrayed them to be.
 
If that chop did not give it a name all those years ago, then it wouldn't be a think now. So what we need to do is come up with a name for what zuma and the anc is doing to our country now. Post your suggestions here, now.
