Any issues they might have , have absolutely nothing to do with the BDS. So in regards to the BDS, they are doing just peachy thanks.

Yes, get more people who don't give a rats arse to support them and they will be fine. I for one never buy at Woolworths, but I'm sure as hell will make an effort to do so going forward. I support their stance. They will not be black mailed.

They also just had a massive acquisition overseas... if they have any issues its because of economic conditions here.

The people of South Africa are more tolerant than you. The BDS has no real support. Theyre a goose farting into a hurricane. The burden of proof is on you for making the extraordinary claim that a tiny group of people brought the shares down for a cause most South Africans dont care about or dont agree with. Even if every single Muslim followed your xenophonic tendencies, thats still less than 5% of the population. Most people dont even know BDS exists. Illusions of grandeur much?

My criticism of Woolworths management is not in the vain that they should change their "macro" statement or "cave in" or anything of the sort but rather that with respect to the nuances of dealing with legality and illegality of the occupation of space- IMHO they should have approached the courts earlier and have acted in concert with the various centres management and SAPS to ensure peaceful gatherings outside the stores rather than allowing an escalation and demonstrating passive aggression to reach the point at which you have riotous protest.

Ok but hold on a second. Who is the guilty parties here? Woolworths? These BDS morons are doing it themselves so Woolworths must go to court to prevent BDS from themselves?

Of course one of the reasons why BDS have gone balls to the wall on Woolworths is because of the knowledge that the company has a complex set of conditions that can unravel at the expense of the company so it is perfect for propaganda: if Woolworths suffer claim victory, if Woolworths rebound claim that evil capitalism is the problem

Niether do I support Woolworths but thats before this whole debacle started.
Its not about blackmail, its about arrogant business practice of which I do believe Woolworths are fully accountable.
Its negative publicity either way, a PR disaster for the company. They will have to give in at some stage.

Theres a 24 hours woolies near to where I have moved to. I now support them more because of them not backing down. That actually factors into my consideration when Im about to go for a drive to hunter/gather supper. Ive got no time for xenophobic blackmailing.

Even if marine and his pitbull decides to throw all their money at Woolworths it will be in vain.

as a retail chain in the public domain with money in a legal budget taking the course of action that leads to a harmful escalation is criticism worthy conduct. The "guilt" of BDS would be sufficient to have obtained the necessary interdicts - with costs.

The RGA clearly reinforces the common law rights of an interdict and large enterprises in this country have on occasion to deal with the issue of protesters - particularly in a labour context - and working with the SAPS authorized member to delineate areas and so on.
I am damn certain that the BDS would not be cooperative and so on, but Woolworths did not do themselves or the ecosystem any good by behaving like the ANC usually does.

Again, only affecting 5% of the population. Muslims in SA think they are in the middle east... Wake up and smell the coffee. You are out numbered around 20 to 1. You have a 1 in 20 vote be it with your money, your ballots, your feet or your mouths. It's still just 1/20.

you are misunderstanding

the boycott is ENTIRELY INEFFECTIVE with respect to its stated objectives
one of the ulterior reasons for going for Woolworths has been in the advance knowledge of the different routes to falsely claim "victory"
