ASN.1 BER

Hey guys

Ok so i have a little assessment to do. I was offered a very nice job opportunity in Delphi development. Since i studied and specialize in networking this is a completely new thing for me. I was sent an assessment which is a text file with a whole lot of numbers and letters all in ASN.1 BER format and i have to convert it into a readable format such as CSV. Thing is i have no idea how.

If anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it.

damn, I see BER and I think of bit error rate, thanks for disappointing me op.

This sounds like the assesment a friend tried for a company in centurion. The ASN.1 BER is sort of related to SNMP. If I remember the decoded information ended up being something like Name, Surname, ID and a few other details.

So I googled, and while I wouldn't want to be doing it you should be able to figure it out.

Have worked with something just like it in the past (PDU), its pretty simple really.
