We recently added a sub-domain for a small site to our existing Windows shared hosting package. It's a lightweight page with text/numbers that's going to be used an "info screen", using SignalR to push updated info to the page.

We now found out that that SignalR requires Full Trust, but that's not possible with shared hosting so I need to find a host that allows it.

Can anyone suggest which host I could try or how much it would cost to host with AWS or Azure? The site is under 10mb and won't require a db.

Create a Visual Studio account, register for Dev Essentials.

Deploy it to Azure with the free credits you get.

Both AWS and Azure has a free tier, which can save you some money for the first year or so. Probably best to Google for details.

Depending on OP's needs.
On the free tier the app will shut down to save resources, so you need the paid tier to be always on.

Somebody that knows more about Azure can maybe confirm for that side, but with AWS that is not the case, you get your t2.micro EC2 instance with up to 30GB disk for free for the full first year that you have the account and it never shuts down to save resources or anything like that. I ran a system for a full year without paying anything and it was always on. Many other things also free for the first year and some free for longer: https://aws.amazon.com/free/

You could also try Google Cloud Platform (GCP). They give you $300 credit and 365 days.

You can try calculate using Azure calculator pricing first before signed up with them. If you are host simple .net site, then it wont cost you so much money, but if you are using MSSQL database, then I would recommend you to use their calculator first. I personally host my .net site with European provider, hostforlife.eu. They have support the latest .net core, MSSQL server, SignalR and also Full Trust. You can consider them on your list. I never use AWS, dont have any idea.
