Please do your self a favor and try the new Opera 10 Turbo edition.

No more lag.

I did try all the Firefox work arounds on the aspire one user forum and nothing worked.

I'm Happy to surf again.

What OS are you running?

Mine is stock-standard, hardware-wise, but running Ubuntu 9.04 "Jaunty Jackalope". Not sure about pre-tweak, but I changed a few browser settings, disabled some unnecessary hard-drive writes, etc, and it runs fine. Great, even.

XP spk3 downloaded from the aspire users forum page.

I have just put in a extra Gig of Ram.

Running Ok.

I did try the Jaunty Jackalope ran ok but I wanted to run some windows only software.

Opera terbo still runs much better than Firefox.
