does anyone know how this is? i mean is i any good? or what... the graphics are absolutely amazing and i would buy it if it had a good story and gameplay

It's not out, yet. Can't wait for it, though. It's going to rock!

lol... it sure looks good... and the fact that it's the first game with life like crowds( the people that are gathered and that shop at stalls actually move and act like real crowds) and the guy (altair) that you play as, can interact with the peole is the most advanced. you shuffle and pass through the crowds just like you or i would. and it gets better because you can push people and nock them over if you really wanted to. but does any one know how the game play is? iu mean it's all good and well that the graphics are yet to be matched and the realness over the people is amazing, but if the gameplay isn't up to cratch that would be pretty useless...

this will be the first game to show off the ps3 as it looks much better then the xbox360... but i think i should be spot on coz it's by the guys who did prince of persia. but it's a let down that it's coming out only on the 1st of austust for the ps3 and in april for the xbox/pc... but i hear they doing some hard core shyte with the ps3's version. like you can use the controllers to knock over people by tilting it...

HAHAHA you guys are dumb... the PS3'S ONE IS COMING OUT LATER... **** the ps3 hasn't even come out in europe yet... so whats the rush for getting a demo out... lord

*sigh*

Scotty... you really need to stop smoking the giggly-twig... really.

There was a statement FROM THE DEVELOPER that the xbox360 and PC versions would have better AI than the PS3 version... and as far as I'm concerned, a game is not about the graphics, its about how it plays.. pretty sure alot of other ppl here would agree with me on that one.

im not goning to deny the fact that the xbox and a pc have better ai... the ps3's cpu is pretty much sh1tty for general purpose(like ai) and as a result will suffer in games...

Oh, and from a few of my searchs and diggings on the intarweb.... the 360 has a better GPU and memory system than the PS3 as well......

lol... ok ok...the xbox has a better gpu and the memory is unified... so now can the fanboy leave? dude... 10 bucks says the xbox is gonna run into problems due it's it dvd drive which is used for games... as it stands now... the games for the xbox are getting to big of a single dvd... and the HD-DVD can't be used for games... microsoft will most likely drop support for the 360 as soon as the "720" comes out. which will be in about 2 or 3 years

I am no fanboy... otherwise i'd be going on about how teh ps3 is teh sux and whatnot... I enjoy the idea of competition.. I just think MS have made the better design choices this generation bar the control interface which i think Wii wins HANDS down....

Why exactly does the dvd have to be a problem? multi disk games are not a problem imo, as for the Blu-ray, they're having to play silly buggers with the data to optimise games which is already not a good sign.

And i think your time-line is a little bit skewed, the next xbox will not be out in 2 or 3 years time... 4 years maybe....

ok... i won't lie, the source i did read it from is know for bending the truth... but they say it will get replaced within 2-3 years. as for the blu-ray shyte, there's a reason for that... and thats because blu-ray is still one of the hottest things out the overn in terms of media and electronics... so do expect the ps3 to have some buggers with data to optimise games. i know it's not a good reason but there you have it... the xbox is one of the easiest consoles to programme for becuase it['s all unified, this means the hardware will run around the software rather then the programmer try work to his best to get to use the hardware.

There's a bullet point interview with Peter Moore up a few days ago (there's a link on kotaku) He himself reckons that the replacement for the 360 will probably arrive around 2011.

I don't think they're in a rush to replace the hardware, not like the xbox 1. Sony has a Loooong way to go to recover costs on the PS3, and the xbox has it pretty well matched or beat for the length of the generation.

The wild card they have to look out for is, again, nintendo. With the Wii being cheap, people are not going to be offended if the cycle only lasts 3 years. So when PS & Xbox are mid lifecycle Nintendo could release their Next gen device, which, by Moores law, could be more powerful than either the PS3 or 360, and still keep the price ar $250, say around 2009.

Never considered that, good point
