Why?
So many people are unhappy about it and is causing gamers a headache.
Doesn't it just stabilize lines? How is it causing gamers headache?

Why not build your own network and not use any type of network management tools?
I do understand your point, but if the network management tool is giving so many people such a hassle why keep it?
So many?
What percentage of 1 100 000 DSL users are online gamers?
Don't have a problem with it myself and I think the major bitching is coming from gamers - not exactly a majority on the net.So many people are unhappy about it and is causing gamers a headache.
Well lets give this poll a week or so and let the votes speak for itself?

Well lets hope it happens. If you get more than 110 000 negative votes (10%) you might get Telkom to glance at it.
Let me give you some guidance before you beat yourself up on this...
You need to focus your attention on the area where it will hurt Telkom the most. They recently announced a R1 million sponsorship for the Telkom Gaming League. Find the relevant articles and scour them for names of Telkom executives, etc. mentioned in them.
Then address your (valid) concerns regarding latency, which impacts gaming negatively and ask them how they expect gamers on DSL connections to compete on an equal footing with guys on mobile, LTE-A or even fibre connections.
Ask them what steps can be taken to make the gamers happy. Trust me, they know all about the negative impact on gaming...

My focus has been off gaming for quite some time so for me latency isn't the major issue although lower ping is always a good thing. My issue is that my line now syncs at 60% of what it did quite happily before.
