Associated Media Publishing, which published Cosmopolitan, House & Leisure, Good Housekeeping, and Women on Wheels, will shut its doors on 1 May.

Associated Media Publishing is one of South Africa’s leading independent media houses and is well know as a publisher of women’s magazines.

Coronavirus won't kill people, hunger caused by unemployment will kill more people than Coronavirus ever could. For some businesses, the lockdown was the final nail in the coffin ... but the lockdown was still the cause of some businesses closing up shop.

Most businesses have been suffering for years due to the crap regulations of government. Those are the facts. Most businesses cannot survive one or two months without any income. It's that simple.

I am not going to take things just because, are their legitimate business who couldn't manage? Yes, is this one of them probably not. This is probably been long time coming it's just convinient now

As you say this has been a long time coming, and they may have eeked out a year or two more before it became unavoidable... this event has just made that happen much much faster.
