Asterisk vs Freeswitch

I see alot of comparisons online but I am wondering how Freeswitch works on our local Telkom lines.

FreeTDM and Sangoma

FreeTDM for FreeSWITCH should work just fine with Sangoma interface cards, although I have never tried.
It will probably be a bit more work to configure and get working in FS vs Ast but Sangoma maintains that mod so there should be little incompatibility.

Hi.
I use both, and both have pro's and cons.
You can easily plug in a SIP gateway to handle PRI's or analogue lines for your Freeswitch or Asterisk setup.

Also depends on your volumes of call. I see freeswitch handle huge volumes with ease.
