I am definitely keen on trying this, Now I really need a mini HDMI cable.

I went to my local supermarket looking for bags, I took my tf to make sure (I am a bit hesitant to order such things online)

Found a cool brown one for 200 bucks that was exactly what I was looking for, I'm sure we will all have different requirements for bags / cases etc

I just wanted handles so I could carry it with a firm reliable grip
It must fit in my laptop backpack but it's a 17" so I thought most would

Yeh it's 4k now, I've seen 3.9k but that shop only had that special for a week or 2

Regarding EA Mobile Games like NFS Shift, Sims 3, Worms:

The reason you cannot download Need For Speed™ Shift is that it is not yet be compatible with your device. When we develop a game, we then have to tweak the game play so that it is compatible with each and every mobile device out there (as every mobile device is different). This is an ongoing process as new devices hit the market but does take time. Just keep an eye out – we will continue to work hard at supporting all the devices out there!

I am sure you can use the one in MyCloud I just bought the HD version from the market as it allow me to run at my PC's full 1920x1080 res. The included one resize the PC resolution to the device or smaller, it can not go higher.
 
So I got my second 32GB replacement about 2 hours ago, and perfect so far! Sound output is noticeable louder than the previous two units, and it even feels snappier (came with 3.01 out of the box - updating to 3.1 now) Maybe I got that special 'turbo' unit that is reserved for the customer who complains most ;)

I'm pretty sure the previous 2 had the Kindle app pre-installed - but this one doesn't. Can anybody confirm?

Aaaah, glad you are transformed, happy customer.

I got mine from www.nivo.co.za with Kindle pre installed and it came with version 3.1. I have played with it for 2 days and so far I been happy with built quality, speed and the battery life is awesome. The docking comes in handy as a TV Stand when you watching movies.

Both our replacements must have come with the same courier :). I got my 32GB replacement about 3 hours ago. The courier had a box with 2 x 32GB and 1 x 16GB.

Same findings as you. Much better.

Also got mine with 3.01 stock and had to upgrade.

I think part of the problem is that they now shipping units from the main factory as well one of the smaller ones to meet demand. Something tells me one of them dont have proper quality control. I did have kindle pre-installed.

Oh well glad to see you now a happy camper.

Got a Wired mouse today and have no choppy movement or lag. This seems odd as both the Microsoft wireless mouse I tried had stutter. I dont know if its because of the brand or is this the problem with wireless in general. Can anyone confirm this?

My Razer Orochi works 100s wired mode and Bluetooth mode, it was 58 times quicker and easier to setup than Windows 7

Guess I am buying a new mouse this weekend, odd that both the Microsoft wireless mouse giving me problems, but its that new ones with the "bluetrack" that's suppose to work on any surface, and no they where not cheap.
 
My replacement 32GB TF needs to be replaced too. This one has a screen that periodically freezes and stops responding to my touch. Sometimes as much as once a minute and freezes for about 5 seconds.
Tried the update and a custom ROM. So annoying and dissapointing.

Looking for one now, doesn't need to have space for the keyboard dock.
 
Ahh just got my 16GB TF, I haven't done much with it yet (including install the MyBB app, haha) but it is so nice to use. I read that a lot of people are getting faulty tablets, even a few weeks after being problem free, I hope mine doesn't have any of these faults :( Anyway, time to go back to playing around with it!

I know how you feel - my second replacement also went back due to screen issues. My third one has significant back light bleed in a single spot near the power connector, but it is not noticeable under normal conditions, so I've decided to keep it - because everything else is perfect so far (touch wood). I'll think twice before buying ASUS again - the failure rate on this piece if kit is just ridiculous.

Seeing that mine have a small amount of light bleed when I use something with white at full brightness I am starting to wonder if the shipment SA got was the rejects from USA?

It's possible. Mine does not have any of the problems at all outlined in this thread.
