ASUS Eee Pad transformer

Looks like Look & Listen is also selling the Transformer 3G.

Saw the 16GB 3G for 5699 on a pamphlet.

Anyone else been messing around with the "Hubs" concept?

This is what mine's looking like, I like the fact that now I'll be using more screens, before I only used the default screen, the rest were blank.

Only thing I liked in that video was the Movie widget he was using :)

Found it thanx to the XDA thread as well, Called Mizuu. Its a lot like XBMC for Android, guess this will do till XBMC finally gets ported.

I like the Single desktop for all, well I have 3, and use ADW Launcher
Center: Home
Left is "Social hub" with Facebook, Twitter, Plus and email widgets (All using similar transparent theme to the calendar on home)
Right is some random widgets where Mizuu will fit right in

WOW you guys have the coolest home screens how do you do that?

Can one do the same on the galaxy 10.1 ?

Hi Elimentals, thanks for the reply, do you still use your transformer? I'm getting a tablet today not sure between Galaxy 10.1 or transformer...sign. Top of you head what will you go for ?

^^^ he seems to be changing wallpaper by tapping on the screen? what do they use to do that?

He does mention it in the XDA thread (That seems to be down now)

I was thinking it would be cool but then realized that it would cause a problem with my Social screen as the Transparent text would be a pain on some backgrounds.

Aaah XDA is back....

He is using https://market.android.com/details?id=org.tamanegi.wallpaper.multipicture for that.

Wallpapers
-Set up - Load up your wallpapers on your sd card/internal memory and placing them into seperate folders and name them based on the images (ex. Music, Movies, Games etc)
- Long press an empty screen on your homescreen > "Wallpapers" > "Live Wallpapers"> "MultiPicture Live Wallpaper"> "Settings"
- For each "Screen _ Settings" Select the picture source as "Picture Folder" and navigate it to point to your corresponding homescreen.
- Additionally you make select the screen transition here that reflects your particular taste. You may also set a default wallpaper for your lockscreen.

hmmmmm installing as I like the picture for each desktop, but dont need the tap on screen to change.

What's the nice is that even though it's a live wallpaper, it's still very smooth and responsive.

I have found an awesome app called Writepad Stylus.
I am going to use it for note-taking.
The reason I say it's awesome, is because it has palm rejection (I'm not sure what other app has that too).

I will report back my findings (I will compare it to PenUltimate on the iPad - as I've used it before).

:)

You have a folder of images for each home screen so you could choose only darker images for social, it's completely up to you.

I'll probably still change mine a lot more to refine it, still, it's a nice concept

I saw the app actually allow for one step better than that, you can have some dynamic like lock and home and some static like my social screen.

This will also be nice for some sort of a Gallery hub with photos, if you're keen on that sort of thing

Okay here is my feedback..
It's okay. For simple notes - it works. The palm rejection works well.
Can't hold a candle to PenUltimate, though.

The search goes on..

You've taken a look at the flyer? It'll get ICS at some stage, also has a digital stylus

I think he is searching for an App for his Transformer, not a device :)

In that note, I kind of like Supernote that is bundled with the device.
