I think any USB to AC charging unit would work.
My HCT Hero one does.
Perhaps look at any Cellphone shop that sells such devices?

I'm talking about the use cable to the "thingy port" in the transformer itselfnot the wall plug.
Your only luck on that would be to contact ASUS sa and Ask them where you can source one as you "lost" yours?

Okay.
Now I've just about torn all my hair out.
For te life of me, Ican't seem to access any bookstores from ASUS MyLibrary.
It gives me the option to log into my asus account, but then tells me to add a store, after which it goes no further!
What is going on?

bookstores? perhaps try the kindle app.

I don't personally use ASUS store but I use http://calibre-ebook.com/ to convert all my books to ePub format that the included reader can open.
I also do the same for my iPad.
