ASUS Eee Pad transformer

I suspect it to be media files? mp3/mkv/mp4

Normally associated with Windows MTP. and if true must be because something changed on your PC (New drivers, update or something like that) There is a workaround but I guess its to much work, simply rename the extension to something none-media related like .txr and renaming it back on the device.

I had this problem some time back, ever since changed over to Samba for file copy to and from my device, just a small catch, USB is faster than Wi-Fi for file copy.

Actually .cbr files for my comics

This is the error I get when I try to copy the file across to the SD card.

Though after clearing up the DMClient issue it seems like I can copy directly again. Go figure :)

Thanks for all the advice though.

Erm lemme guess your SD card is formatted Fat32, what happens if you rename that file to something like Batgirl-019.cbr ?

NTFS formatted. Copied the long file names fine until the DMClient issue popped up. And now is copying fine again that it's gone away. :wtf:

Pop Asus an email and ask them, last time I contacted them they said they would assess & quote for free.

BTW should you want to sell your charger please let me know.

thanks
i did that, i will wait for their response
lets hope its not more than 1500 to repair , although for 1500 i dont think you can get a better tablet

Yeah dont think you'll get a better tablet for 1500.

Why dont you buy a charger from ebay?

My charger still works but some times it doesn't, I am actuality not sure if its a problem with the charger, the cable or the tablet.

Will look at getting another one should it stop working entirely.

Have an original one that has barely been used, tablet was stolen. You can have it for like R200

Thanks but I am gonna pass right now. Was actually thinking of selling it to my brother for 1k - 1.5k.

It charges now so I think it must be a connection problem. Probably the pins not making proper contact.

My beloved TF101 screen just died now- while watching a movie. I can still hear the dialogue but no picture.
Tried all reset methods but nothing helps.
Any other advice before I call the dreaded undertakers ?

else you need a new screen

I checked a youtube vid and tried that-no luck.
