ASUS launches 5 high-end laptops

Yeah, no. Get far more bang for my buck in desktop build for that kind of investment.... and far greater longevity/upgrade/mod options...

Not the desktop argument! That is like saying:
you shouldn't use a handbag, get a suitcase

Personally I am sick of working on the cheap-ass laptop my company bought for me to use, and my personal laptop is 8 years old (Macbook pro 2012). That Zephyrus G14 looks amazing, but where can we buy, the only places I can find it online the price has been heavily inflated:
$1 500 = R26 050
But on Evetech it is R39 999 https://www.evetech.co.za/asus-rog-...060-gaming-laptop/laptops-for-sale/18744.aspx

but where can we buy

From amazon:

What's weird is that they usually add tax to it. I wonder if that's lumped in with the shipping and handling fee instead. But yeah, that's about as good as it's gonna get until the rand gets stronger.

For now PC's will remain the king of Gaming performance

News flash, most people who buy laptops know this. Why do the PC brigade feel the need to sing the same song every time laptops are mentioned? I can understand this being mentioned in threads where people are toying the idea of either a laptop or desktop, but the PCMASTERRACEISBESTMASTERRACE spam isn't necessary here.

Simple gaming laptop argument is.

I need a laptop. I want to game also, then a Gaming laptop makes sense

If you don't need a laptop, then a gaming PC is better.
