Asus Rog Ally

Yes definitely agree. No feedback from IC yet. They can't tell me if the Ally is indeed faulty or if they are in the process of repairing it.

Odd because ASUS does replacements from forums I’ve read. How would IC fix something manufacturer doesn’t fix?

Your guess is as good as mine. The guy in store insisted on sending it to be fixed.

Within 6 months you can demand a replacement. The sending back is to make sure there is a fault.

This is BS they should replace it

They say they need to check if the device is really faulty and make sure it was not damaged by the customer, eg water damage. Consumer protection in SA is toothless.

Yeah the CPA really is toothless, especially when there have been known issues.

I wished they got a unit with a working MicroSD card slot so they could actually test to see what exactly malfunctions when using one, but alas they got a dud off the bat

Not yet. Still waiting.
Going to give them til Friday then going to go back to the store
Good luck man. It's really shitty of IC to drag their feet on this. They were quick on the cash grab but once they have your money they seem to not care about the inconvenience their policies cause

Anyone having issues running Jedi: Fallen Order?

It's actually Windows related, it always crashes within the first 5 minutes.

Check event viewer, that pointed me to the problems with BG3. Mine was virtual memory running out
