Just buy it. Don't be chicken. It's a good device. At R16K and 3 years of warranty (only on Asus ZA though), it's a good deal.

Knowing myself, I'll use the device non stop for 2 months then one day forget to charge it and never get around to charging it for at least 6 months.

Apparently it doesn't make much difference. Well that's according to reddit posts. Will see if I can find it for you. The days of debloating stuff like in windows xp days are pretty much gone. Infact I think I saw somewhere that it might even break Asus services

Won't happen if you use it for work as well. Put your most essential apps on it as well as sensitive docs and avoid backing up. It will motivate you to pay attention.

Some say disabling Core isolation helps. To be honest I did not see a difference so I enabled it.

The steam deck you can prob import for under 15k for the 512. Plenty for sale second hand though.

Saw the ally for sale on Carbonite. Contemplating it and selling my steam deck. Decisions decisions

I would not buy clothes there, there have been reports of lead and other toxin contamination of clothing items there. Maybe SSD is OK but for stuff I would put on my skin, I would not go there.
