So as per the thread title I got an ASUS RT-N12HP B1 (updated to the latest firmware) that I wanted to use as a repeater, but for the life of me I cannot get it to find any of my networks (ADSL router or mifi). It does however find a network from the house across the street :wtf: My ADSL router is an ASUS DSL-N14U. My wireless setup is pretty default with only the ssid and key changed.

Is there anything that I can do to try and get the repeater to "find" the WIFI network from my ADSL router? Im sure the repeater is in range since my phone has at least 3 bars of wifi signal.

So I updated the firmware on the ADSL router, still no joy... Maybe I should consider getting a tomato or dd-wrt firmware for it?

Odd. I have the same router at work. Works fine in AP and Router mode.

I believe that when in repeater mode the settings should all be the same. Try dropping the encryption to a different setting.

Try this link: 192.168.1.1/survey.asp

Thanks Ill try that, lets hope. Maybe Ill create an open network to test with first.... :?
