Hi, all.

I am looking for a new laptop, time for an upgrade. Anyone have first hand knowledge of the above "convertable laptops"?

I will be using it for work, mainly MS-Office, Internet (extensive lurking and reading MBB Forums). I work with huge excel sheets.

I saw one on display at IC and it looked really great. What did you finally settle with?

I will do so dude.

Got an Alienware M17X R4 17" 3D from him 2 weeks ago. Another killer deal. This thing is HEAVY though - after getting used to the XPS12.

Despite the high resolution I'd rather go for something with a bigger screen then, unless you're hooking it up to another monitor.
 
@Xino_sam: IC at Sandton City has demo units of the Asus Taichi as well as the Dell XPS 12 if you live anywhere nearby and want to test them for yourself.

Thanks Yotch, in fact we have moved office to Sandton today - so I think while the rest of the staff are settling in, I will go and have a look.
