Asus zenfone 2

The phone looks very similar to the LG. I was actually at the LG store, to look for a cover, but the Asus phone is slightly taller.

I forgot to mention, I use "Bone conducting earphones" (Bluetooth 4) on this device with a LG Urbane watch (Bluetooth 4), which might explain my "battery sucks" comment.
 
I actually went for the g3 over the zenfone 2 because I got tired of waiting for Orange to release it. Now I just need a new tablet and I'm looking at the zenpad s but once again I find myself waiting on Orange
 
My mom got this phone and its serious value for money... At a dirt cheap price of R2500, not sure what the pricing will be from Orange.

Where did she buy it from? It sounds like its the 2G RAM version which I'm looking for.

She got it in Taiwan... Phones are of similar cost to SA due to the crappy exchange rate. So I'm keen to know what the prices would be if it ever comes here. Sorry, this wouldn't help you.
 
I was excited for this phone, but one big thing that really put me off was the rounded back. After getting a test unit from HTC to use I realized I HATED the rounded back design. bleh.

Cant wait for my Meizu to arrive! Yay! :D
 
It's over priced here. Should'nt a $200 phone translate to sub R3,500 ? How is orange selling it for R4500?

Orange is selling the 4gb ram version which if I'm not mistaken is going for $300 so it pretty much sounds about right
 
After all the waiting Orange decided to withdraw the Asus ZenFone 2 from their offerings. I wanted to know why but they had only this to say:

" Dear Piet Le Roux,

We apologize for the inconvenience.

We can confirm that there is no information regarding the availability of the Asus Zenfone 2 in our system.

It appears to have been removed by our Product managers as we are no longer expecting to offer it.

We remain at your disposal.

Moto G is pretty decent but they only stock the 8GB model
