AT Command Access??

Have not yet tried myself, but will soon, but can't right now so I thought I would post in mean time

Are you able to connect using say Hyper Terminal to the 3G card and send SMS using AT commands like you can with GSM modems? I use this technology alot within my apps, and if I could have a 3G card for that access and use it for SMS'ing, BINGO!!!!!

Have not tried it myself, but would be very surprised if it does not support the AT command set. Will see if I can get the extended commands.

Vodacom3G, have you managed to get extended commands yet? I have a set already for the GSM modems I use, and I know it is mostly universally standard, but if you could let me know re: port speed, bits, etc/..... i.e. connection parameters that would be wonderful

I have requested it from Option but have not yet had a reply. Will keep on bugging them.

The best I can do is the official ETSI specification for the AT Command Set.
