Atheros Wifi adapter issue.

Hello everybody,

Yesterday afternoon my father and I went to Makro buy a laptop that was show in the weekend tech specials on myBB a few weeks ago the Acer 5733 for R4999, As soon as I got home I explored the computer to see what LAN and Wireless adapter it used (Atheros AR5B125) so I could download the drivers and prepare it for a format (Win 7 home -> Win 7 Ultimate)

Now, the LAN drivers work like a charm but the wireless adapter fails to connect to my router, it finds the router but will refuse to connect to it.

Any help will be much appreciated.

PS: I managed to get the wireless working last night but now its not working at all.
PSS: Atheros is useless.

Router settings?
My lappy wont connect to my duo plus if I`m using wpa2

Must be security. Disable all and try again. Also disable QSS on the router if it is offered

Thanks any way, it turns out that if you install the latest WiFi driver it wont work...but an earlier version it would.
