:mad: These tribal barbarians are the future of this country. You don't even have to search for news like this. Just open the website, and it's there. IMO there is no hope of even making these 'communities' civilized.
 
Ironically enough the best marathon times are set running through these neighborhoods.

It is phrases like these that makes me the most sad. Mugging someone is one thing, but when you have to add that you're lucky to be alive (because frankly you are), then it is indicative of how backwards the society has moved.
 
Wow, all for a pair of smelly shoes.. Those people will destroy society for R5 and then wonder why they have nothing left to steal the next day.

-10 in terms of common sense from the event organisers. People are hesitant to drive though that area let alone run.

Hope the woman makes a full and speedy recovery.

I dunno - like anywhere that I've ever been there are dodgy places that you'd think twice about going to and that's one of them.

Probably some campaign to make people aware of suffering....:mad: I don't give a fuk about what's going on in townships and squatter camps. They are the source of their own suffering.

A clearly racist post if there ever was one and in very harsh terms. If u do wanaa nuke em and us just bloody leave aldready. The crime is a terrible one, but organizers clearly displayed a lack of common sense. There are certain areas which are dangerous and you don't want athletes with shiny shoes running around some desperately poor areas, which as point of interest were created by the old government a blatantly racist one which you seem to like given your comments. Eish this whole thread is one for closet and openly out and proud racists, the discussion is about them and not how horrific the crime is or how the perpatrators can be caught and such crimes be dealt in with general.

I fail to see how his post was racist. Perhaps specieist, but not racist.

If Calling people these tribals and labeling such incidents as the African way of thanking you is not racist then well nothing is. This is why this country will never progress there are some idiots who have still not been able to leave their aparthied mentality and there are others who want 300 years of a reverse aparthied towards the former opressors seeing some of the comments here makes me think the two camps deserve each other and share a lot in common with each other.
