After a long wait, my ASUS 5850 card arrived today. As is with everything in life, I got the message just after I was finishing a payment on a reference 5850 in the hope of getting that sooner. Anyway, for those of you who have DX11 cards I just wanted to find out how long it took you to get yours.

My order 24 November 2009, Arrival date 26 February 2010

Orderd my Asus EAH5850 Sunday 14 Feb, Arrived Wednesday 17 Feb :D

Got both 5970 & 5850 same day
One Sapphire 5970 OC & one Club3d 5850

Bwhahahahaha who did you use.

Ordered and picked up the same day, although finding it took me about 3 days

Ordered around 25th November, and got it the first week of December. Although I cheated - was in the USA on business so got it quick quick :D

I wouldn't have waited that long. Especially when you consider the fact that the 5850 price came down since November (so you probably paid more, waited 4 months, then received it). FAIL

Sybaritic. I am also noticing my Dirt 2 item is nowhere to be seen. Could be just getting old.

LOL dude. I Also got mine from Sybaratic and took 3 days. Also didn't get dirt2 :( Emailed them and they were willing to send me another sealed box but I would have to send my current one back and be without a graphics card for a few days.

PM me your name if you like or order number, going to send him an email saying that another box didnt have it in either.

This is soooo disappointing. Only reason I was upgrading was for that Dirt 2 experience. My 9800 GT was still holding fort. Anyway, lets see what Sybaritic say.

Thanks for the info

Ordered my Asus 5870 in the beginning of November, got it halfway through January. Frontosa.

It gets better, now the card refuses to work. Was not picked up first time so put the onboard graphics connector back on. To do this however I had to take the card out coz of its size and once I re-sat it in the board it immediately worked. Posted my last post and then played Crysis, ran benchmarks and it was looking good. This morning, nothing again, fortunately I left the onboard graphics connector on and just needed to connect the monitor. Tried last night's trick but nothing. Have taken the card out all together.

Cannot put my 9800gt back in as it is promised for sale so sticking to on board for now. :-( Guess will have to convert my delivery date to a virtual delivery.

Order date 24 November 2009, delivery .....

Shaddow if you got 10gb to burn i can offer you a key i got with my 5770's.

Pm me if you want the key, don't pm me for the key if you don't intend on playing the game though. No point wasting the key

Hi PSU is a Gigabyte ODIN 585 unit. Enough for one 5850 max. Is it possible the the adaptor from the molex connector to the card could cause a problem. It does not explain why the card would work once and then stop again.

Any input would be appreciated.
