Hope someone out there can help, I've tried everything. When I send emails to people from Outlook with attachments on, people with outlook express don't get the attachments, and it's everybody that uses Express that tells me this. I have set up an email address in my Outlook Express and sent the mail to myself and no attachment appears either. The paper clip is showing that the mail has an attachment but the attachment is not there.
Is it a setting in Outlook that I can change or is it a setting that people with Express must change?
I've had this problem for ages now, but have now reached a point of gatvol as I keep getting replies from Outlook Express users saying "Where's the attachment?" The Outlook users receive it no problem....

You have unticked the "Do not allow attachments that could potentialy be a virus" in the security options of outlook express ??

go tools
options
select the tab security
untick dont allow attachments to be open or saved.. should b the 3rd option near the top..

have you tried to send the mail in plain text with the attachment.. do they recieved that
?

Yip that's all been done. When I send emails to them from "Outlook Express" account they get the attachments, it's only when it's been sent by Outlook that people using Outlook Express don't see the attachments.

"Security Bug" and MS are saying nothing???? Fancy that!

topgun resend the email but in plain teext format...
click format and the select plain text...
they prob getting a file called win.dat.. as teh attachment then...

happens from the rich text(htm)
