ATV520 and a strange issue

So I am experiencing the strangest thing this morning. I have the following setup:

Sony amplifier with HDMI passthrough, Hooked up to the TV, and a Mygica ATV 520E hooked up to the amp.

Since this morning, nothing is displaying on the TV. I have checked the connections, and everything that seems relevant. This is the strange bit:

1. If I hook the ATV520E directly to the TV, it shows the input.
2. If I hook a laptop up the same way that the ATV520E was connected to the amp, it also displays correctly.

Has anyone ever had this occurrence?

Two suggestions

(1) Change your HDMI cable
(2) Connect ATV520E direct to TV, lower the output resolution, reconnect via amplifier and see if it works

I tried option 2 and no luck. But yes, seems it is a dodgey hdmi cable. Weird that it works fine with other devices. Thanks for the suggestions.
