Audi A4 1.8T: Erratic Idling

Had that in a clio.... the temperature level was at zero even if it was warm, so I think the ecu sent too much petrol to the engine. It would shoot up then slowly come down....

Please...thats more like a F1 car,

Here are my thoughts:

-Air Flow meter is faulty.
-Temp Sensor is faulty
-MAP (if applicable) if faulty.

Get the car scanned by a diagnostic machine, it will tell you exactly what the fault is.

Yep I will do that when I have time though.

I cleaned the MAF sensor on the throttle body and I found another wierd looking sensor on the air filter box. Maybe another air flow sensor perhaps?

High idle is most likely a vacuum leak somewhere. PCV is quite common.
