Audi Jerky Transmission

Has anyone had their jerky transmission repaired and can anyone recommend a gearbox specialist in Durban or Pinetown areas?

I have an Audi A3 2007 2.0fsi

Jerky makes for a terrible material to build transmissions out of. I would recommend getting a metal or aluminum model instead.

flush transmission? refill transmission?
and I dont believe this nonsense of "fill for life"

or is it on its way out, and a replacement costs more than the car?

Is it a DSG? If so they should be serviced every 60000km with new oil and filters as well as a resetting of gears and clutches. When last was the service done?

Normal auto similar process oil and filters.

Mechatronic unit issue or the clutches are gone, sell or be ready to spend some money!

last service done at audi at 180000 and they refused to acknowledge the transmission problem which is common.
numerous recalls and lawsuits on vw and audi transmissions overseas but Audi-SA no recalls.
