Audi now extending motor plans?

Or they KNOW things are bound to break, so they're just charging for them in advance.
I'm currently looking at a pre-owned Q5, but so far the Audi people are useless in understanding their own motor plan. I've asked them what it would cost to extend the duration by one year, but not the kilometers. So far this week I've had 3 answers - R25000, R7100 and R27000. 
Anyone out there who have actually done it recently?
Bear in mind that I have in the last year or so paid BMW R3500 to extend with one year on both a 118i and a 325i.
If Audi is going to charge me R25k+ to extend duration I'd rather look at the X3, because frankly it is ridiculous.
