Audi RS3 vs VW Golf R

huh? No, only when modded.
But that has been sorted now in anycase as the after market maps don't ramp up the boost too aggressively at low rpm.

0-100 in 3.7s seconds in the 7R with software and intake.

Yes it can, with turbo upgrade as well.

R600K+ for a hot hatch .... bugger that... Thats enough money to get a decent R350K run around and a BMW R1200GS Adventure.

Still whip that hot hatch and leave a smile on your dial :D

Nope even stock with normal driving, turbos were going, theres loads of pic around, the spinny thing breaks.

So a 5.2s car can do 3.7s with software and intake? Uuummm no.

Errm yes, hes right, they do 0-100 in 3.7s also loads of proof online.

You don't have to wait. Turbos were revised a while ago already. IIRC revision 4 already.

Which model of which month were they fixed? The S3 as well?
Good to know.

Ja that I can believe (With the turbo upgrade obviously) Seen plenty youtube vids on a few with turbo upgrades, faster than some super cars.

Friend of mine did his. 0-100 in .3.8 secs and 0-200 in ii secs. On 95 Octane map. He will need forged internals for high octane map. (Golf 6R)

Nope, doesnt need a upgraded turbo, standard turbo and cold air intake, exhaust and software. it will do 0-100 in 3.7s.

@whatwhat the golf 7 R does 100 in 4.9s ... And yes with software and intake just under 4 seconds

I said that from the start. Its the Ford driving fools that were saying that isnt possible.

There about, this is a friend of mines stage 3 Apr big turbo 6R doing the same time.

Both are great cars and it's true about the 7R's turbo's (mostly the modded ones) RS3's iv not heard of any engine troubles though more Haldex Diff problems that was on the previous model..
