Audi RS7 vs ...

See you've fixed it, but the various V10 R8s say hi.

Where'd you pull that from? :p 'Supercar' isn't a term with any set definition, except some nebulous version of 'blerrie fast'. This thing certainly qualifies as giving a supercar-worthy performance though.

The Godfather of cars - Jeremy Clarkson :p

Yea but I'm willing to bet that list will change at reef - those V10s are all NA cars. I reckon this will be in the top 3

Indeed, 'cept maybe for the R8 V10 Plus (what a stoopid monicker). I'm sure BMW and Merc are fettling away at their big saloons in response. It's all a little silly, really. Impressive, but silly.

Unless the go AWD they might fall short.
The Audis Quattro is the reason it takes off that quick, it has less power the the BM or Merc.

I think the RS7 is gorgeous, just needs the quad pipes of the S7 and it'll look the business. Looks and sounds the bizniz, and has the performance credentials to back up the bark. The only thing that comes close to it in terms of looks (in that class) is the CLS63 AMG.

i prefer the oval pipes over the 4 thinner pipes ...

Four is the perfect number for exhausts.

One = boring unless they get creative with the positioning/shape.
Two = great (as long as they're split ala Golf 7 GTI/R, Honda Accord Type S etc.), two pipes on a single side = disappointment.
Three = boner-inducing potential (Ferrari F40, 458).
Four = ultimate aesthetic balance.
Five or more = no thanks Jeff.

Kinda agree with your sentiment but one does get occasionally horrible 4 pipes ie. the horrible stacked 4 pipes on the Lexus ISF; it looks like a AutoStyle add-on.

hahaha i agree with the single pipe and 2 on one side

but the RS cars of audi have the huge oval pipes

the thin 4 pipes dont do it for me

they might even be the same size as the AMG and M cars but they just look smaller for me

Anything more than 2 is over kill.
The new S3 has 4 pipes, so silly.
ISF has the worst 4 pipe layout ive ever seen.

One on each side FTW.
