Audio problems

I just formatted a customer's machine and all the drivers look like they install properly(got them from web customer lost cd's) but the sound simply doesn't work.

No errors on device manager.

The board is a EPOX EP-8RDA3I, myabe it's just my connec but I simply CANNOT download from the manufacturer's website.

um, make sure the volume on the machine is up. if you can't fix it then send money on a cheap sound card and say that there was a problem with the sound,

I'm trying to d/l the drivers for you and dump on a local server? Also getting errors - most of their partner sites are non-existant...will let you know if I manage to get them.

If it's onboard audio, check the BIOS setting to see if it is enabled - may have defaulted back to the original settings and needs to be re-enabled

Checked volume & BIOS and I am now considering putting a sound card in there, if you manage to get drivers downloaded lemme know plz

Downloading now for you - will post when I have them both - the Realtek and the C-Media drivers - about 23mb each, and the site is sloooowww...
