I think the powers that be respond to incidents as they are presented, the media went out of it's way to make it out like Zimmerman was a racist out to shoot black people at the beginning.

Obama has been vocal on many major gun related killings. From the schools through to Treyvon. Surely you heard all the others, or are you just judging him on this one event? There are many black deaths every day in the USA due to gun related instances that Obama does not comment on. How come you dont mention those?

Or do you not mind that he doesnt comment on every black person that is shot. Just when a white person is shot and he doesnt comment quickly enough for you that you get upset?

I find it very upsetting when well-known and respected black leaders - including the POTUS - turn a criminal case into an issue of race when the victim is a black man; but when the victim is a white man gunned down in cold blood and the perpetrators are black, these same men say nothing.

Give it time, Obama only made his response on the 23rd of March, the incident took place on February 26th...

He has spoken out several times when white people where shot. What on earth are you talking about?

This pseudo outrage is fascinating. You are upset about this specific incident (because it involves a white person), but not for the many times Obama has said nothing about the many black people killed. Fascinating. You dont even see it.

I assume this is the conservative strategy on this one. Focus the debate away from gun control, make it an issue about Obama being racist.

do you have blinkers on or are you just blind? these same 3 people went out of their way to comment and make an issue out of the treyvon/zimmerman case and shout from the roof tops. they should come out and do the same shouting now seeing as this is not even an american citizen and the fact that this australian was gunned down for the "fun of it".

Obama also commented on many cases where white kids where killed. You are ignoring this. Obama also has not spoken about every black kid that gets killed, and killed by a white person. You are ignoring that. You know the finger you are pointing? Its pointing back at you.
 
Incoming rhetoric: Why even bother with a trial or prison? They admit to killing him, they laughed about it, they think the entire thing is a joke. So put a gun to their heads, pull the trigger, have their families pay for the bullet and the effort of getting rid of their carcasses and be done with it.

Nothing will bring the Lanes' son back but at least these scumbags can be removed from the planet.

Give it a month, I wouldn't be surprised if Obama doesn't comment on this incident sooner.

We should be concentrating on gun control debate, instead the right wing have us focused on Obama being racist. Talking about gun control is more likely to help prevent future incidents like this. I dont see how the right wing plan of calling Obama a racist is going to prevent more of these attacks
