Authentication failure once again at present. Customers crapping all over me and my own line is down!!!

Absolutely no reports of network problems on their "network status" page

Same on this side.

My connection as well as 2 people in other locations are unable to get online.

I also cant connect, using only my cell phone now. The adsl at work is also offline.

My connection is lots better than last night. Getting 1 or 2 blank pages but a refresh fixes it. Pta - Erasmuskloof

No links yesterday morning, no links this morning - didn't try last nite. The frustrating thing was that my signal strength was between 95 & 100%, so there's no problem with my tower. Iburst rattled by a bit of rain?

Damn this IBurst is down a lot.
I used to use IBurst as a backup, but now that i'm relying on it, it's freaking terrible.
My connection is set to retry 99999 times.
I arrive at work and the connection box is closed.
It's been down foreva already.

IBurst Centurion.

Cant Authenticate as well.

19/04/07 Authentication degradation 19/04/07 All iBurst subscribers. CRITICAL IN PROGRESS
Details Authentication failure due to core equipment outage.

I am sick and Flacking tired of iBursts issues!

My clients are freaking out at me at something i have absolutely NO COTROL OVER.

This is bad for business and i have already recieved cancellation threats from pissed off clients.

iBurst get your act together for once. This is not on!

Damn this IBurst is down a lot.
I haven't had any major problems in general but this is now the third time that their authentication server has taken down large portions of their network. Can you say single point of failure :( Think they need to look carefully at their redundancy.

The one good thing about authentication errors is that as long as you can convince your modem (maybe with some vodoo or something) to not disconnect you should be fine... of course after a storm like last night there aint much chance of not having any disconnects :D

Copy and paste of 2 days ago... they can't even fix things properly... just like Telkom

Unfortunately, with keep-alive option set on router, the link disconnects when iBurst decide to go into authentication failure mode.

Now 1330ish, and the incident report still notes it as "critical" "in progress". Can anyone confirm if the authentication server connection is up yet?

It is authenticating but the overall connectivity reliability is shocking. Connected to the Centurion tower and the connectivity continually comes and goes.
Trying to send mail through their SMTP servers is fairly hopeless today as well (which is not to say it's much worse than normal.....)

Pings are rotten aswell... network is warped. my line has been down several times...

I'm connected again - and i'm trying to collect all the mail i missed.

Its all coming in bits... 5 mails and then a timeout.... It's mighty frustrating when there are 200 mails on their way in.
