Authentication Problems

Dear Friends

IS are currently experiencing authentication problems in some parts of South Africa.

This is due to a Telkom / Internet Solutions failure.

Engineers are attending to the problem.

I am sincerely sorry for any inconvenience caused!

I will keep this thread updated with information as it comes through.

Call it the CNN of MyADSL.

Thanks for letting us know. Now that you mention it, I did have some troubles getting online again after the 24h reset, but I managed to get it working after a few retries.
 
Well, after a weekend of intermittent access, now I have no access to IS whatsoever. IS are really becoming a pathetic joke IMHO.

Just got ADSL installed today - thought something more serious was wrong. The connection goes through after about 10 or so tries though :)

IS has done alot of good for me when it comes to my downloads :) so im happy for now... lol
 
maybe thats why the newserver is quicker than it was the past few days :D
 
lol :D ....i had a problem like 2 nights ago, problem sorted itself out overnight.....

This is really not funny anymore, still can't connect!!!

I am a private user, but I would most certainly not recommend IS to any one needing a reliable ADSL connection.

Sorry to say, but IS is pathetic.
 
Most of the authentication issues should now be resolved.

I'm still having problems. I've sent you mail MrBEEP.

Last night I found that a few sites were timing out and only loading half way. So I thought I'd reboot my router since that usually solves some of my problems. When I rebooted, I couldn't connect again.

PAP Authentication Failed. LCP down.

I left my PC on the router page and it tried to reconnect every 30 seconds. I left it on right through the night and this morning when I left for work at 8am, it was still trying to authenticate.

Just phoned my brother at home and he checked my computer and it was still trying to authenticate. So the problem still persists.

:( I'm a sad monkey!! :(

Thanks, Mr Beep, everything is work now, lets just hope it stays that way.
